Spider glazing concept is rightly applicable for the elevation/opening height more than 12feet and up to any heights provided with proper structural support.
Spider glazing materials are made of forged stainless steel and various size, designs, colours and surface finishing variants are available. There are 3 kinds of spider hardware like 4way spider hardware,2way spider hardware and single way spider hardware. Base on the specific location and designs this spider arms are used. All the joints and corners of the Spider glazed glasses are packed with silicon sealants of various colors like white, black or clear.

Spider glazing done with fin glass of 15mm/19mm toughened glass or laminated glass to act as a structural support to with stand wind pressure, internal pressure and dead weight. It can be done either on the top the glazing or in the bottom with the support of fin plates mad of stainless steel.
#Spider glazing using Stainless steel:
Spider glazing done with stainless steel pipes running both vertical and horizontal directions to support the larger sized glasses connected with spider hardware. SS pipes can be of any diameter and thickness as per the structural consultant specifications.
# Spider glazing using mild Steel(MS):
Spider glazing using mild steel pipes running both vertical and horizontal directions to support larger sized glasses connecting spider hardware. MS pipes can of any square or cylindrical shaped pipes of various thicknesses as per structural consultants/architects design specification.
